I am a Software Engineer at Gartner.
In December 2019 I graduated with my bachelors degree and in December 2020 graduated with my
masters degree, both in computer science from the University at Albany, SUNY. I first started programming
in my junior year of high school. Ever since I have adopted a wide variety of
programming languages and frameworks to build my tech stack to what it is today.
Developed cross-platform features that integrate Gartner’s homepage, Peer Community, and Peer Insights web applications
Contributed to comprehensive Peer Insights tech stack overhaul combining a database migration, AWS account migration, application upgrade, and CI/CD rollout all into one reducing build and deployment times by 82%
Pioneered a back end Golang process that in under 20 minutes identifies mentions of 36,000 Peer Insights entities across 70,000 Peer Community posts while ensuring context-sensitive results aligned with product requirements
Regularly communicated technical designs to engineering peers and showcased new features to leadership, product managers, and design teams
Optimized page load times in Peer Insights by relocating API requests to server-side execution, enhancing overall performance
Streamlined AWS Lambda design pattern by implementing S3-based storage for function code, eliminating infrastructure redeployments and improving agility
Engineered and deployed a bespoke live polling feature for conferences, facilitating immediate engagement and feedback from thousands of attendees
