I am a Software Engineer at Gartner.
In December 2019 I graduated with my bachelors degree and in December 2020 graduated with my
masters degree, both in computer science from the University at Albany, SUNY. I first started programming
in my junior year of high school. Ever since I have adopted a wide variety of
programming languages and frameworks to build my tech stack to what it is today.
Led full-stack development initiatives for Gartner’s peer platforms, improving performance, scalability, and overall user experience
Designed and implemented a custom events system featuring notifications, RSVP functionality, threaded discussions, admin-managed access controls, and configurable settings
Expanded platform capabilities by enabling secure file uploads for user-generated posts, comments, and replies
Developed a backend job to detect and map mentions of 36,000+ entities across 70,000+ user-generated posts, powering entity specific on-hover popups with context-aware accuracy
Built and deployed a live polling feature for conferences, supporting real-time engagement and feedback from thousands of concurrent attendees
Partnered closely with product managers and designers to groom user stories, refine requirements, and deliver features aligned with business goals
Authored and maintained technical documentation to support ongoing development and onboarding
Regularly maintained and communicated technical designs to engineering peers and showcased new features to leadership, product managers, and design teams
